About Autonomous SmartDesk
Autonomous SmartDesk is an electric standing desk designed to provide height-adjustable workspaces. The desks feature motorized lifting mechanisms, with models available in configurations ranging from dual to quad motors and weight capacities from 176 to 450 pounds. The frames are tested to withstand 50,000 lift cycles. Multiple models are offered at different price points, with surfaces ranging from basic particle board to solid ash wood tops. Some models include anti-collision features and noise-reduction technology.
The developer, autonomous-ai, has made the CAD designs and firmware open source and available on GitHub. The project is developed using Python. Products come with varying warranty periods, from two-year frame warranties on entry-level models to lifetime warranties on premium options. The desks are marketed for both individual and commercial use, with different configurations suited to various workspace needs and budgets.
