About Baguette
Baguette is a headless control system for Apple Simulators that enables developers to stream, inspect, and control iOS simulators from a lightweight command-line server. It supports real-time video streaming at 60 frames per second with low latency, multi-finger gestures including taps, swipes, pinches, and rotations, and provides access to accessibility trees and system logs. The tool is designed for local automation and device farm setups, turning private simulator APIs into a scriptable interface that developers can connect to through stdin JSON, a browser, WebSocket clients, or existing automation stacks.
Developed by tddworks and written in Swift, Baguette is licensed under Apache 2.0. It runs as a long-running local process or HTTP server and scales from single simulators to multi-device farms without requiring protocol changes. The tool requires Xcode and Apple Silicon to operate.
