About CharDesk
CharDesk is a Unicode canvas tool for creating diagrams, visual explanations, and interface sketches as editable text. Developers and AI agents can work with the same content, with people viewing the spatial scene while agents read and modify its text source. The tool supports drawing technical figures, explaining concepts, and sketching interface layouts, all while keeping the content selectable, copyable, and editable as plain text. CharDesk is developed by Sayhi-bzb and is released under the MIT license.
The tool operates as an infinite canvas where visual information and text representation coexist. This dual nature makes it suitable for collaboration between humans and AI agents, as both can understand and edit the same content through different perspectives. CharDesk includes a Canvas feature for visual work and a Cell UI component for building interfaces that agents can inspect and modify.
