About devframe

Devframe is a framework-neutral foundation for building developer tools that work across multiple environments. Developers use it to define a tool once and then deploy it in different ways - mounting it into web frameworks like Hono, Nitro, Next.js, SvelteKit, Vite, and others, or shipping it as a CLI, static report, or model context protocol server. The tool converts a single definition into a Web Standard Request-Response handler, allowing the same codebase to power web interfaces and agent integrations without modification.

The framework provides type-safe bidirectional remote procedure calls, shared state management, and support for composing multiple tools through a hub. Developers can build visual interfaces and agentic features from the same internal state. Devframe was developed by devframes and is licensed under the MIT license. The project is written in TypeScript.
