About dnsglobe

dnsglobe is a terminal application that checks how DNS records propagate across the internet. It queries 34 public DNS resolvers worldwide and visualizes the results on a world map displayed in the terminal. Developers use it to monitor DNS record changes and verify that updates have spread globally to different nameservers. The tool is built in Rust and provides a text-based user interface for interactive exploration of DNS propagation status.

The tool is developed by 514-labs and released under the MIT license, making it free to use and modify. It combines DNS checking functionality with geographic visualization, allowing users to see at a glance which parts of the world have received updated DNS information and which resolvers still serve older records.
