About ekphos

ekphos is a terminal-based markdown research and note-taking tool written in Rust. It presents notes in a three-panel interface with content in the middle, an outline on the right, and a list of notes on the left. The tool supports wiki-style links between notes with autocomplete, vim keybindings for navigation and editing, and includes features like fuzzy file search, full-text search across all notes, an interactive graph view of note connections, and a journal feature for dated entries. It also supports inline image previews in various terminal emulators and offers customizable TOML-based themes.

Developed by nostacks, ekphos is written in Rust and designed to be lightweight and fast. The tool is released under the MIT license. Installation is available through Cargo, Homebrew, or Docker, and the project is in early development with active updates.
