About Gloomberb

Gloomberb is an open-source finance terminal that runs on desktop, in a web browser, and as a terminal interface. It provides tools for researching companies, tracking portfolios, viewing market data, and accessing financial information such as charts, earnings calls, news, and regulatory filings. The terminal includes 168 functions covering areas like options analysis, volatility tracking, commodity futures, and corporate disclosures. Developed by gloom-sh and written in TypeScript, Gloomberb is free and open source under the MIT license.

The tool supports multiple access methods, allowing users to maintain the same account and layouts across desktop applications for macOS and Windows, Linux terminal access, and browser-based usage. A Pro version is available with additional features including hiring data for companies and earnings transcript search. Users can extend functionality by writing plugins or contributing to the project.
