About gobackup
GoBackup is a command-line tool designed for application servers to automate database and file backups on a schedule. It supports multiple database sources including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis and others, and can send backups to various cloud storage providers such as Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob Storage, and FTP services. The tool can compress backups into tar archives, split large files into multiple parts, and send notifications through mail, webhooks, Discord, Slack and other channels.
GoBackup is developed by gobackup and is written in Go. It is distributed under the MIT license. The tool runs as a daemon for scheduled backups and includes a web user interface and HTTP API for managing backup operations. No additional dependencies are required to run GoBackup.
