About KiroCrew
KiroCrew is a development workspace that maintains context and progress across multiple sessions. Developers use it to manage ongoing work with persistent memory, allowing them to resume projects without restating context or restarting workflows. The tool coordinates across different tools and workflows, incorporating custom applications into development processes. It learns from user corrections and work patterns, transforming repeated actions into reusable skills and lessons stored as editable markdown files.
The workspace can operate autonomously with cron schedules, webhook triggers, and heartbeat monitors, handling long-running tasks that checkpoint and retry automatically. It includes a knowledge graph with vector embeddings and full-text search to help retrieve relevant context. Security features include owner locks, command pattern denial, governance controls, and audit logging. KiroCrew is developed by kirodotdev, written in Python, and released under the Apache 2.0 license as open source software.
