About Lapce

Lapce is an open source code editor written in Rust, developed by lapce. It is designed for speed, with native graphics handling using GPU acceleration to minimize startup time and keyboard lag. The editor includes code syntax highlighting powered by Tree-sitter, built-in language server protocol support for features like code completion and diagnostics, and modal editing inspired by Vim. Developers can also use a built-in terminal and connect to remote machines for development work.

The editor comes with a plugin system based on WebAssembly, allowing plugins to be written in multiple programming languages that compile to WASI. Lapce provides documentation and downloads for various platforms including Linux, macOS, and Windows in different formats. The developer also offers Lapdev, a related platform for managing Kubernetes development environments.
