About LinearMouse

LinearMouse is a utility for macOS that lets developers customize how their mouse and trackpad behave. It provides control over pointer acceleration, pointer speed, scrolling direction, and button remapping. Users can create different profiles for different devices, applications, or displays, with each profile maintaining its own settings. The tool allows fine-tuning of acceleration or disabling it entirely for more predictable cursor control, as well as customizing scroll behavior independently for mouse and trackpad. Button actions and scroll gestures can be remapped to keyboard shortcuts, media controls, or system features.

LinearMouse is developed by linearmouse and released under the MIT license. It is written in Swift and available for download on macOS, installable through Homebrew or direct download from the project's website.
