About Mac Performance Monitor

Mac Performance Monitor is a native performance monitoring utility for macOS that logs CPU, memory, GPU, network, battery and sensor data. It displays live performance metrics in the menu bar while also recording history for later investigation. The tool includes an Explorer feature for comparing processes across time, examining specific moments in detail, and investigating performance alerts. It supports tracking individual processes and grouping related applications, monitoring network traffic per app, scanning disk usage, and viewing GPU activity alongside hardware inventory. The developer is Zesty0wl and the tool is released under the MIT license. It is free and open source, requires no account or license key, and includes no telemetry. The application is built with Swift and SwiftUI, designed for Apple silicon Macs running macOS 15 or later.
