About oha

oha is an HTTP load generator designed for benchmarking and load testing web services. It offers a terminal user interface with animated visualizations to display test results and metrics in real time. Developers use it to simulate traffic and measure how systems respond under load, with support for both HTTP and HTTP/2 protocols. The tool can be run from the command line to generate requests against target servers and analyze performance characteristics.

oha was developed by hatoo and is written in Rust. It is distributed under the MIT license, making it free and open source for both commercial and personal use. The tool is inspired by existing load generators and provides a modern approach to HTTP load testing with visual feedback during test execution.
