About Oxlint

Oxlint is a linter for JavaScript and TypeScript that checks code for correctness and potential issues. It is built using Rust and compiled with the Oxc compiler stack. Developers use it in continuous integration environments and large codebases because of its performance characteristics. The tool includes more than 865 rules covering ESLint core rules, TypeScript rules including type-aware rules, and rules from popular plugins such as React, Jest, Vitest, Import, Unicorn, and jsx-a11y. It also supports custom JavaScript plugins.

Oxlint is developed by oxc-project and distributed under the MIT license. The tool is designed to work without extensive configuration out of the box, prioritizing correctness checks that identify unsafe or incorrect code. It supports automatic fixes, ignore files, inline ignore comments, and multi-file analysis. An integrated formatter called Oxfmt is also available as part of the same collection of tools.
