About qrcp
qrcp is a command-line tool that enables file transfer between a computer and a mobile device over WiFi using QR codes. Users can send files or folders to their phone by generating a QR code in the terminal, which the mobile device scans to download the content. The tool can also receive files from mobile devices through an upload page. It works by binding a web server to the computer's WiFi network interface and generating a QR code that encodes the server address.
Developed by claudiodangelis and written in Go, qrcp is distributed under the MIT license. The tool requires no configuration to operate but offers customization options through configuration files or environment variables. It is available as a prebuilt binary for Linux, Windows, and macOS, and can also be installed through various package managers or directly from source using Go.
