About Quill
Quill is a rich text editor library that developers use to build custom content editing experiences on the web. It provides a WYSIWYG interface with a modular architecture and an API-driven approach, allowing granular access to editor content, changes and events through JSON input and output. The editor works consistently across all modern browsers on desktops, tablets and phones, producing consistent HTML output regardless of platform.
Quill is developed by slab and distributed under the 3-clause BSD License as free, open source software. The tool is built with JavaScript and works cross-platform. It is designed to fit projects of various sizes, from small applications to large enterprise deployments. Developers can start with the core functionality and add custom extensions as needed to meet evolving product requirements.
