About Strata
Strata is a C++ inference engine designed to run the Qwen3.8 Flash Next language model on consumer-grade Windows and Linux gaming computers. The tool provides a one-click installation process that simplifies deployment, making it accessible to developers who want to run a capable language model locally without specialized hardware. It offers compatible APIs matching OpenAI and Anthropic interfaces on localhost and supports optional image input capabilities. The developer Niko1221 released Strata under the MIT license, allowing free use and modification by the developer community.
By packaging the inference engine with straightforward installation, Strata removes friction from setting up local language models for development and testing. Developers can integrate the locally-running model into their applications using familiar API patterns, enabling experimentation with Qwen3.8 Flash Next on standard gaming hardware rather than requiring cloud services or enterprise infrastructure.

ds4 runs big MoE models on 96 GB Macs, Magnitude tunes kernels to your device, Strata puts one model on a gaming PC. Every speed claim is self-reported.
