About SwiftLint
SwiftLint is a tool that enforces Swift style and conventions through automated linting and static analysis. Developers use it to ensure their Swift code follows established style guidelines and best practices that are widely accepted by the Swift community. The tool is based on popular style guides and uses SwiftSyntax as the foundation for most of its rules, while some rules access type information through Clang and SourceKit. SwiftLint can be integrated into Swift projects through multiple installation methods including the Swift Package Manager, where it functions as a command plugin or build tool plugin.
The tool is developed by realm and released under the MIT license. SwiftLint provides a configurable set of rules that developers can enforce in their projects to maintain consistent code quality and adherence to Swift coding standards.
