About termio
Termio is a terminal-first development environment designed for running multiple AI coding agents simultaneously. It functions as an alternative to tmux, providing a native macOS application where developers can orchestrate and manage various coding agents including Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and others. Each agent runs in its own real terminal, allowing developers to switch between them instantly and monitor their progress side by side. The tool is built in Swift and developed by termio-sh under the MIT license.
The environment is designed to keep all work on a developer's machine without sending data elsewhere. It integrates with multiple agentic coding systems and provides features like a command palette, file browser, and readable markdown rendering alongside terminal sessions. Termio requires macOS 14 or later and can be downloaded from its website.

- OSC 7501 program status: how your terminal knows an agent is waiting on you, and what to wire up today
OSC 7501 lets a program tell the terminal it is working, blocked, done or failed. Claude Code, Pi and Crush send it; few terminals show it yet.
