About UniTerm
UniTerm is a lightweight terminal emulator that supports over 30 protocols for remote access and system management. Developers use it to connect via SSH, Telnet, Mosh, RDP, VNC, SFTP, and other protocols, as well as to manage databases, containers, and Kubernetes clusters. The tool includes file transfer capabilities across multiple protocols, remote desktop access, and database client functionality for MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Redis, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
A built-in autonomous AI agent can plan and execute multi-turn shell commands without manual intervention, allowing users to complete complex tasks directly within the terminal. The AI integration supports large language models compatible with Anthropic and OpenAI protocols, including Claude and GPT. Users can configure how much oversight the AI receives through different execution modes. UniTerm is developed by ys-ll, written in Go, and released under the Apache 2.0 license.
